Membership in Select Opinion is by invitation only. Our team may reach out to suitable candidates directly, or you may be invited as a selected expert from one of the panels Select Opinion collaborates with. This exclusive network is reserved for professionals with senior experience in the healthcare industry, including physicians, medical specialists, hospital executives, and payers.
How can I join the Select Opinion Expert Network?
Select Opinion collaborates with recognised healthcare market research panels and is invitation-only, based on your profession, expertise, and experience. If you believe you’re a good fit, you can submit a request via our contact email to be considered.
What is the registration process, and what do I need to provide?
Once admitted to the network, you will be required to provide:
- Your desired hourly rate for consulting.
- Your current/most recent employment details (title/company/dates).
- Additional employment history, which is not mandatory but helpful for selection.
- You also have the option to upload your CV and LinkedIn URL, which speeds up the recruiting process.
- You’ll also need to agree to Select Opinion’s terms and conditions and a code of conduct.
Is my data safe? Who can access it?
Yes, your personal data is safe and never shared or sold to anyone. If you register with Select Opinion through one of our partners, some of your account details, including name and profession, will be transferred to the Select Opinion platform. These details are handled with end-to-end encryption and strict safety protocols.
If you express interest in participating in a paid consultation, we will share an overview of your expertise and employment history with our clients. This is done to help them select the best candidate for consultation sessions.
Our clients are contractually obligated to treat all information we share with them as confidential. They are prohibited from sharing your information with third parties or using it for anything other than their specific research scope.
Select Opinion clients include companies in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, and Market Research industries, among others. Only clients who have agreed to our rigorous compliance standards are eligible to speak with our experts.
What does a typical consulting session look like?
Consulting opportunities typically involve a single phone or digital interview on a specialised topic. Sessions usually last 45–60 minutes but may vary.
How much do I get paid for consulting?
You select your own hourly rate, meaning you decide the amount you wish to be paid per hour for consulting. However, this rate will be visible to recruiters and used when selecting candidates, so setting an amount that reflects the market standard is advised. Payment is calculated on a pro-rata basis.
How do I get paid for consulting?
You will get paid through a Digital Wallet. After completing a consulting session, the payment will be processed and appear in your Wallet within 10 business days, where you can select a payment option available in your region.
How often will I be expected to consult?
There is no minimum requirement for participation, and you have the freedom to accept or reject any consultation opportunity that is offered to you. The number of consultations you complete will depend on your expertise and your availability for each consultation.
Do I need to prepare for each consultation after being selected?
We specifically ask that experts do not perform any preliminary research ahead of an expert consultation, nor will Select Opinion compensate you for any research conducted without prior approval. Consultations with Select Opinion clients are based on your already existing expertise, therefore, prior research should not be necessary.
